In 2021 Czechia public debt was 103,250 million euros122,114 million dollars, has increased 21,34829,509 million since 2020.
This amount means that the debt in 2021 reached 41.9% of Czechia GDP, a 4.2 percentage point rise from 2020, when it was 37.7% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Czechia debt. It has risen since 2011 in global debt terms, when it was 62,576 million euros 91,188 million dollars and also in terms of GDP percentage, when it amounted to 39.7%.
According to the last data point published, Czechia per capita debt in 2021 was 9,648 euros11,411 dollars per inhabitant. In 2020 it was 7,653 euros 8,653 dollars, afterwards rising by 1,995 euros2,758 dollars, and if we again check 2011 we can see that then the debt per person was 5,957 euros8,680 dollars .
The position of Czechia, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2021 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 50 in the list of debt to GDP and 148 in debt per capita, out of the 190 we publish.
