In 2016 Bolivia public debt was 14,216 million euros 15,736 million dollars, has increased 2,2942,508 million since 2015.
This amount means that the debt in 2016 reached 46.2% of Bolivia GDP, a 6.4 percentage point rise from 2015, when it was 39.8% of GDP.
If we check the tables we can see the evolution of Bolivia debt. It has risen since 2006 in global debt terms, when it was 4,989 million euros 6,264 million dollars although it has fallen as a percentage of GDP, when it amounted to 54.38%.
According to the last data point published, Bolivia per capita debt in 2016 was 1,306 euros1,445 dollars per inhabitant. In 2015 it was 1,112 euros 1,233 dollars, afterwards rising by 194 euros212 dollars, and if we again check 2006 we can see that then the debt per person was 537 euros675 dollars .
The position of Bolivia, as compared with the rest of the world, has worsened in 2016 in terms of GDP percentage. Currently it is country number 85 in the list of debt to GDP and 73 in debt per capita, out of the 186 we publish.
