The transparency law of Kyrgyzstan has been in force since 2007 and with it has earned 87 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Kyrgyzstan is now ranked 63 in the transparency ranking formed by 136 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.
