Afghanistan at No. 71 in ranking of transparency

The transparency law of Afghanistan has been in force since 2014 and with it has earned 77 points in the Global Right to Information Rating (RTI Rating). With that score Afghanistan is now ranked 71 in the transparency ranking formed by 111 countries, meaning it is among those that must improve its laws in order to guarantee access to information.

This index ranks countries giving them a score of 0-150 depending on the strength of its legal framework which guarantees the right to information.
