Christianity grow in Zambia while believers dropped

Christianity, with 71.85% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.72%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Zambia population, has dropped to 99.72%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 70.88% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 71.85% follow it.

The Zambia’s second-largest religion is Animist Religions, accounts for about 27% of the population.
