The latest survey data indicate believers share of Tanzania population, has dropped to 99.7%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 48.29% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 51.5% follow it.
Islam is the second most practiced religion in Tanzania, accounts for about 32% of the population.
