Syncretic Religions, with 56.21% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.87%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Taiwan population, has increase to 99.87%. As to Syncretic Religions it has decreased, the previous survey recorded 57% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 56.21% follow it.

The Taiwan’s second-largest religion is Buddhism, accounts for about 26.42% of the population.
