Christianity grow in South Africa while believers dropped

Christianity is the South Africa's top religion, around 77.87% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 96.07%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of South Africa population, has dropped to 96.07%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 77.28% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 77.87% follow it.

Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in South Africa, accounts for about 14.47% of the population.
