Rwanda - Religions

Christianity is the Rwanda's top religion, around 69.8% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.98%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Rwanda population, has dropped to 99.98%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 65.03% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 69.8% follow it.

Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Rwanda, accounts for about 21% of the population.
