Christianity is the Portugal's top religion, around 95.64% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 97.45%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Portugal population, has dropped to 97.45%. As to Christianity it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 97.73% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 95.64% follow it.
