The latest survey data indicate believers share of Mauritius population, has dropped to 97.54%. As to Hindu it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 45% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 44% follow it.
The Mauritius’s second-largest religion is Christianity, accounts for about 33.22% of the population.
