The latest survey data indicate believers share of Malaysia population, has dropped to 99.56%. As to Islam it has increased, the previous survey recorded 50% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 58.6% follow it.
The second-largest religion in Malaysia is Buddhism, accounts for about 18.2% of the population.
