Lebanon - Religions

Christianity is the Lebanon's top religion, around 54.25% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 97.35%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Lebanon population, has dropped to 97.35%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 50.7% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 54.25% follow it.

Islam is the second most practiced religion in Lebanon, accounts for about 43.02% of the population.
