The latest survey data indicate believers share of Laos population, has increase to 98.07%. As to Buddhism it has also increased, the previous survey recorded 51% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 52% follow it.
The Laos’s second-largest religion is Animist Religions, accounts for about 41.75% of the population.
