The latest survey data indicate believers share of Laos population, has increase to 97%. As to Buddhism it has decreased, the previous survey recorded 52% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 51% follow it.
Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Laos, accounts for about 40.93% of the population.
