Increases believers proportion in Japan

The majority religion in Japan is Shinto, with 76.55% adherents. A very hight percentage of population, 90.04%, are religious in Japan.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Japan population, has increase to 90.04%. As to Shinto has not change, the previous survey recorded 76.55% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 76.55% follow it.

The second-largest religion in Japan is Buddhism, accounts for about 74.62% of the population.
