Christianity grow in Ghana while believers dropped

Christianity, with 70.34% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 94%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Ghana population, has dropped to 94%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 59.35% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 70.34% follow it.

The Ghana’s second-largest religion is Islam, accounts for about 17.6% of the population.
