Christianity believers fall in Cyprus

The majority religion in Cyprus is Christianity, with 74.26% adherents. A very hight percentage of population, 97.46%, are religious in Cyprus.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Cyprus population, has dropped to 97.46%. As to Christianity it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 76.47% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 74.26% follow it.

The second-largest religion in Cyprus is Islam, accounts for about 19% of the population.
