Republic of the Congo - Religions

Christianity, with 88.25% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.67%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Republic of the Congo population, has dropped to 99.67%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 88% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 88.25% follow it.

The Republic of the Congo’s second-largest religion is Animist Religions, accounts for about 10% of the population.
