Islam believers fall in Chad

Islam is the Chad's top religion, around 43.96% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.96%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Chad population, has dropped to 99.96%. As to Islam it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 46.85% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 43.96% follow it.

Christianity is the second most practiced religion in Chad, accounts for about 32.97% of the population.
