The latest survey data indicate believers share of Chad population, has dropped to 99.97%. As to Islam it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 54.38% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 49.67% follow it.
The second-largest religion in Chad is Animist Religions, accounts for about 26.81% of the population.
