Christianity grow in Central African Republic while believers dropped

Christianity, with 60.43% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.45%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Central African Republic population, has dropped to 99.45%. As to Christianity it has increased, the previous survey recorded 54.58% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 60.43% follow it.

The Central African Republic’s second-largest religion is Animist Religions, accounts for about 22.52% of the population.
