Animist Religions is the Central African Republic's top religion, around 48.8% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.9%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Central African Republic population, has dropped to 99.9%. As to Animist Religions it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 50.12% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 48.8% follow it.

Christianity is the second most practiced religion in Central African Republic, accounts for about 45.32% of the population.
