Buddhism grow in Myanmar while believers dropped

Buddhism, with 75.59% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.74%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Myanmar population, has dropped to 99.74%. As to Buddhism it has increased, the previous survey recorded 75% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 75.59% follow it.

The Myanmar’s second-largest religion is Animist Religions, accounts for about 11.98% of the population.
