Buddhism believers fall in Myanmar

Buddhism is the Myanmar's top religion, around 75% of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.78%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Myanmar population, has dropped to 99.78%. As to Buddhism it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 76% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 75% follow it.

Animist Religions is the second most practiced religion in Myanmar, accounts for about 11.54% of the population.
