The latest survey data indicate believers share of Burkina Faso population, has dropped to 99.99%. As to Animist Religions it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 73.48% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 65.63% follow it.
The second-largest religion in Burkina Faso is Islam, accounts for about 30% of the population.
