Botswana - Religions

Animist Religions, with 53% of the population, is the religion of the majority of the population. A very hight percentage of population, 99.95%, confess to having religious feelings.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Botswana population, has dropped to 99.95%. As to Animist Religions it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 62.77% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 53% follow it.

The Botswana’s second-largest religion is Christianity, accounts for about 45.98% of the population.
