The latest survey data indicate believers share of Bhutan population, has dropped to 99.99%. As to Buddhism it has increased, the previous survey recorded 73.76% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 77.87% follow it.
Hindu is the second most practiced religion in Bhutan, accounts for about 16% of the population.
