Albania - Religions

Islam is the Albania's top religion, around 56.89% of the population. A very great percentage of Albanians, 85%, consider themselves religious.

The latest survey data indicate believers share of Albania population, has dropped to 85%. As to Islam it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 62.22% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 56.89% follow it.

Christianity is the second most practiced religion in Albania, accounts for about 28.08% of the population.
