Suicides grow in Syria

By 2008, suicides in Syria increased by 29 people to at 384 suicides In Syria, on average, at least one suicide happens every day.

In Syria there were 1.87 suicides per 100,000 inhabitants, much less than the average suicide in the world, of 9.96 self-harm per 100.000 people.
