Statistics show that in 2014, suicides were the main cause of unnatural death in the world. In Finland suicide also is one of the leading causes of unnatural death. By comparison, there were 139 homicides in Finland, the number of suicides far outnumber homicides. For every homicide there were 9.5 suicides.
