Finland has a very high suicide rate compared to other countries.
Of the 1,208 recorded suicide cases in 1985, 960 were men suicides and 248 were women. Men have a high rate of death by suicide compared with women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 40.4 per 100,000 men and for women 9.8 per 100,000 female.
