Of the 228 recorded suicide cases in 2015, 176 were men suicides and 52 were women. So that, the suicide rate among males were 10.18 per 100,000 men and for women 2.9 per 100,000 female.
Statistics show that in 2014, suicides were the main cause of unnatural death in the world. In Bosnia and Herzegovina suicide also is one of the leading causes of unnatural death. By comparison, there were 57 homicides in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the number of suicides far outnumber homicides. For every homicide there were 4 suicides.
