In 2008 the life expectancy in Sri Lanka decreased to 71.73 years.
That year, the life expectancy for women was 77.5 years and for men 66.68 years.Sri Lanka’s position worsened with respect to the 193 countries we publish said data, dropping from the 91th in 2007 to 94th in 2008.
