Life expectancy increases in Portugal

In 2011 the life expectancy in Portugal increased to 80.7 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 83.8 years and for men 77.3 years.

Portugal’s position improvened with respect to the 193 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 29th in 2010 to 26th in 2011.
