CPI Tanzania February of 2011

February of 2011 CPI went up in Tanzania

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Tanzania in February of 2011 was 7.5%, 11 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 2.2%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2011 is 4.6%

We must highlight the increase of 7.2% in the prices of Furniture, household equipment and maintenance, until its interannual rate reached 13.9%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Communication of -1.2%, and an interannual variation of -1.3%.
