April of 2014 CPI went up in Panama

The annual variation rate of the CPI in Panama in April of 2014 was 3.5%, 2 tenths higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.5%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2014 is 1.7%

We must highlight the increase of 0.9% in the prices of Food and non-alcoholic beverages, until its interannual rate reached 5.1%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of -0.1%, and an interannual variation of 0.8%.
