The annual variation rate of the CPI in El Salvador in April of 2019 was 0.8%, 1 tenth higher than the month before.The monthly variation rate of the CPI (Consumer Price Index) has been 0.2%, and thus the accumulated inflation in 2019 is 0.5%

We must highlight the increase of 1.9% in the prices of Transport, until its interannual rate reached 0.8%, which is in contrast to the decrease in the prices of Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels of -1%, and an interannual variation of 1.3%.
