In November, vehicle registrations in Australia grew by 9.59% with respect to November of 1997. In total, 70,277 cars were registered and 802,880 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 13.07% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of November is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 20,666, 29.35% more than in November of 1997.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 49,611, which represents a figure of 3.03% more than in November of 1997.
