In 2026, the national minimum wage in Ukraine remained fixed at €173 per month, that is 2,076 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
If we look at the minimum salary in Hryvnias, which is the official currency in Ukraine, we can see that, this year, it was 8,647 Hryvnias and accordingly, the national minimum wage has been raised 647 Hryvnias per month from the previous year, 8.09%. This increase is less than the CPI of 2025 which was 12%,and so workers, despite the raise, have lost buying power in the last year.
If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Ukraine is in 93 nd place, so it is among the countries with the lowest minimum salary of the 124 of the list.
