In 2015, the national minimum wage in Ukraine remained fixed at 71.7 € per month, that is 860 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
If we look at the minimum salary in Hryvnias, which is the official currency in Ukraine, we can see that, this year, it was 1,378 Hryvnias and accordingly, the national minimum wage has been raised 160 Hryvnias per month from the previous year, 13.14%. This increase is less than the CPI of 2013 which was 24.9%,and so workers, despite the raise, have lost buying power in the last year.
If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Ukraine is in 89 nd place, so it is among the countries with the lowest minimum salary of the 97 of the list.
