In 2018, the national minimum wage in Jordan remained fixed at €0.3 per month, that is 4 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.
If we look at the minimum salary in Jordanian dinar, which is the official currency in Jordan, we can see that, this year, it was 220 Jordanian dinar and accordingly, the national minimum wage has remained stable, while the CPI of 2017 which was 3.2%, so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.
