The national minimum wage increase in Czechia

Since June 2006, the national minimum wage in Czechia remained fixed at €282 per month, that is 3,384 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.

If we look at the minimum salary in Czech Koruna, which is the official currency in Czechia, we can see that, this year, it was 7,955 Czech Koruna and accordingly, the national minimum wage has been raised 385 Czech Koruna per month from the previous year, 5.09%. This increase is greater than the CPI of 2006 which was 2.3%, so workers have gained buying power in the last year.
