The latest survey data indicate believers share of Cyprus population, has dropped to 96.6%. As to Christianity it has also decreased, the previous survey recorded 74.26% of the population professed it and according to the latest data 70.82% follow it.
Islam is the second most practiced religion in Cyprus, accounts for about 21.22% of the population.
