Life expectancy improves in Nigeria

In 2022 the life expectancy in Nigeria increased to 53.63 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 53.97 years and for men 53.3 years.

Nigeria’s position improvened with respect to the 194 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 193th in 2021 to 192th in 2022.
