Life expectancy of India goes up to 65 years

In 2005 the life expectancy in India increased to 65 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 66.38 years and for men 63.72 years.

India’s position improvened with respect to the 193 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 135th in 2004 to 132th in 2005.

If we look at the change in life expectancy in India over the past several years, we find that it is higher than in 2004, when it was 64.52 years, which is the same of what happens compared to 1995, when it was 60.6 years.
