Life expectancy of Iceland goes up to 83 years

In 2012 the life expectancy in Iceland increased to 83 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 84.3 years and for men 81.6 years.

Iceland’s position improvened with respect to the 193 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 5th in 2011 to 4th in 2012.

If we look at the change in life expectancy in Iceland over the past several years, we find that it is higher than in 2011, when it was 82.4 years, which is the same of what happens compared to 2002, when it was 80.6 years.
