Life expectancy increases in China

In 2000 the life expectancy in China increased to 71.88 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 74.19 years and for men 69.72 years.

China’s position improvened with respect to the 193 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 72th in 1999 to 70th in 2000.

If we look at the change in life expectancy in China over the past several years, we find that it is higher than in 1999, when it was 71.42 years, which is the same of what happens compared to 1990, when it was 68.01 years.
