Life expectancy improves in China

In 1998 the life expectancy in China increased to 71.17 years.

That year, the life expectancy for women was 73.59 years and for men 68.92 years.

China’s position improvened with respect to the 193 countries we publish life expectancy, dropping from the 78th in 1997 to 73th in 1998.
