In September, vehicle registrations in Luxembourg grew by 8.44% with respect to September of 2001. In total, 3,175 cars were registered and 48,698 new cars were sold in the last twelve months, 2.94% more than the year before.
The breakdown of car sales figures for the month of September is:
- Commercial vehicles sold: 377, 3.83% less than in September of 2001.
- Passenger cars regitrations: 2,798, which represents a figure of 10.33% more than in September of 2001.
