The national minimum wage in Tanzania unchanged this year

In 2005, the national minimum wage in Tanzania remained fixed at €33.8 per month, that is 406 euros per year, taking into account 12 payments per year.

If we look at the minimum salary in Tanzanian shilling, which is the official currency in Tanzania, we can see that, this year, it was 48,000 Tanzanian shilling and accordingly, the national minimum wage has remained stable so workers have lost purchasing power in the last year.

If we look at the ranking of the national minimum wage that we publish, Tanzania is in 65 nd place, so it is among the countries with the lowest minimum salary of the 78 of the list.
